Saving money doesn’t rate highly on a teens’ priority list, nor does an interest in financial services. Our brief was to engage teens and get them to interact with the bank.
Teens love expressing their individuality. So utilising design, we let them customise their own Dunlop Volley® shoe. They could then view their work using augmented reality technology, share it with their friends and vote for the best pair.
The campaign was hugely successful. In only two months, there were 19,235 unique visitors to the website, exceeding our target by 140%. We had 4,358 designs submitted to the gallery, beating our target by 38%. And two lucky winners now have their own one of a kind customised pair of shoes.
