Working At BMF

BMF’s vision is to be one of the world’s most influential creative companies. We are deeply committed to world-leading creative work in all its forms. Our people are an eclectic mix of diverse talent, but we are all passionate, respectful, open and curious. Our way of working is collaborative and entrepreneurial. There are no offices, no closed doors, and we wage war on bureaucracy and politics.

Team based approach

We have a project team approach which brings creative teams, planners and account management together with the client. Each project team operates like a mini agency within an agency. It helps keep us grounded, nimble and able to execute our ideas across any channel.

Fun

Our best ideas come when we are having fun, so we try to create an environment where people can do just that. Here are some of our perks:

  • Coffee machine and free drinks
  • Pinball and foosball machines
  • Full-time massage therapist
  • Fully funded social events
  • Annual opportunity for staff bonus
  • Random afternoons off each year
  • Employee of the month awards
  • BBQs
  • Funded Youngbloods events
  • Employee referral bonus
  • Regular informal and formal performance and salary reviews
  • An Employee Assistance Program
  • Career planning
  • Salary sacrifice option on laptops & software

On-going learning

We commit a significant amount of time and effort to internal and external learning and development. BMF runs its own Academy every week, which covers all things advertising, creative, and new world. We also participate in the latest world-class courses and conferences. And to keep those creative juices flowing, there are regular Shots and iShots sessions as well as monthly internal work showcases.

Give something back

All our employees have the chance to give something back through our community giving program, BMF Heart.
There are five charities in the program: Bear Cottage, Animal Welfare League (NSW) and Lort Smith Animal Hospital (VIC), The Leukaemia Foundation, Whitelion, and Inspire. And you can choose to make a difference in any one of three ways – by donating directly from your salary (matched dollar for dollar by BMF), undertaking one day of paid volunteering per year, or offering your skills and services pro-bono to any of our charity partners.
