ALDI Australia: Go Big On The Little Things

PUTTING SIDE DISHES ON CENTRE STAGE

Giving side dishes the main character energy they deserve.

Every year, ham hogs the limelight. And even turkey gets a bit too much coverage for our liking. Because it’s the sea of side dishes that makes Christmas, Christmas.

The brussels sprouts. The potato gratin. That three-bean salad thingy Auntie Les makes. These are the real heroes of Christmas. And as belts got tighter and wallets felt lighter, it was their time to shine.

What’s Christmas without some tone-deaf singing?

ALDI invited the nation to ‘go big on the little things’, with an endless range of superb sides at prices everyone could afford. We went big on every little channel, with over 200 assets. And we even threw in a singing potato. Aussies were feeling the pinch. So we gave them a tickle. And ALDI ensured that side dishes finally got the main character energy they deserve.
